Happy Grandparents Day and Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! Although Grandparents Day was last Sunday, Holy Family celebrated Grandparents at our all school Mass this morning and invited them all to attend! Grandparents came from all over to be with us, even as far as Washington state! And in one special case, the invitation was reversed as our own Deacon Dan invited his grandchild to attend! Our 7th graders, who led Mass today, blessed our Grandparents with a special prayer and Father Patrick had artwork from a Mexican artist to connect the Feast of our Lady of Sorrows with the start of Hispanic Heritage Month! All Grandparents in attendance were then invited to a Cookie social in our cafeteria. Whether you were able to join us or not, we appreciate the love and support of all of our grandparents and abuelos y abuelas!

September 14th is the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, and Holy Family celebrated with our annual procession! Our students carried crosses and chanted prayers as we followed Deacon Greg from St. Agnes Parish who carried the Eucharist. It was a great celebration of Exaltation!#hfscomets☄️ #goforthegold

An elephant with 5 legs? And 5 toes on each leg??And five fleas on each toe??? It was all part of Mr. Thill’s master plan to teach exponents to our 6th graders and they are loving it. To quote one 6th grader, “I didn’t know Math could be this funny!” But Mr. Thill insists it’s all hard work, even when they are having fun. So hard he even has to wear a tool belt! Happy Birthday Holy Mary! Holy Family celebrated the Nativity of Mary today with lots of singing, celebrating, and even some fabulous homemade cards from our elementary students! We were also so grateful to have Father Tony from the Quad Parishes join us for Mass. We just know she heard our jubilant celebrations and it filled her immaculate heart!#hfscomets☄️ #gofortheGOLD
