Clubs and Activities

Holy Family Catholic School offers a variety of clubs available to students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Students are encouraged to participate in academic clubs as well as sports. Students build friendships, gain confidence and grow in knowledge while meeting other students.

Here is a look at some of our clubs:

Cheer Club

New for the 2023-24 school year, Holy Family will have a Comet Cheer Club for students to participate in. Students in Grades 3-8 will be able to join and learn skills & cheers to support Comet athletics as well as promoting school spirit in our building!

Destination Imagination

Destination Imagination incorporates arts, skills and creative thinking. All students in kindergarten through eighth grade are welcome to participate. Teams are created in fall. The individual teams and coordinators set times for team practices.

Forensics

The forensics team includes students in grades 6-8. For more information, please visit the Wisconsin High School Forensics Association website at http://www.whsfa.org.

Girl Scouts

The Girl Scouts build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. Through a variety of enriching experiences, such as field trips, sports skill-building clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges and environmental stewardships, students in Girl Scouts develop mentally and physically. Troops at Holy Family include Daisy Troop (K-1), Brownies (grades 2-3), Juniors (grades 4-5), Cadets (grades 6-7) and Seniors (grade 8).

Student Council

Student Council is a service group that carries out projects to benefit members of the local and school community. Middle school students in good academic and social standing are eligible to participate (eighth-graders are eligible to serve as officers). Student Council accepts applications at the beginning of each school year. Student council has worked with local and national organizations to help raise funds and supplies. Past projects include Christmas Adopt-a-Family, Zoo Boo at the NEW Zoo, Food Drives, Decorating for the Book Fair, and the Fat Tuesday Bake Sale.

Other clubs and activities

Holy Family also offers Chess Club, History Club and Campus Ministry, and our school staff is eager to hear any ideas for additional clubs that students may want to discuss.
