Happy Grandparents Day and Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! Although Grandparents Day was last Sunday, Holy Family celebrated Grandparents at our all school Mass this morning and invited them all to attend! Grandparents came from all over to be with us, even as far as Washington state! And in one special case, the invitation was reversed as our own Deacon Dan invited his grandchild to attend! Our 7th graders, who led Mass today, blessed our Grandparents with a special prayer and Father Patrick had artwork from a Mexican artist to connect the Feast of our Lady of Sorrows with the start of Hispanic Heritage Month! All Grandparents in attendance were then invited to a Cookie social in our cafeteria. Whether you were able to join us or not, we appreciate the love and support of all of our grandparents and abuelos y abuelas!
