Celebrating a Franciscan Legacy of Faith and Service

Living out God’s call to serve others as inspired by St. Francis

Holy Family Catholic School staff had the privilege of honoring our Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, Sister Joellen, Sister Kathleen, and Sister Dorothy, during Monday Morning Prayer on October 5, 2026.

We celebrated the Sisters and the Franciscan tradition they represent: a life rooted in faith, service, humility, and care for others. Inspired by the example of St. Francis of Assisi, their lives remind us that answering God’s call often begins with simple, everyday acts of love and service.

We are grateful for the Sisters’ witness and the example they set for our students and staff. Their commitment to serving others reflects the kind of faith we strive to live out at Holy Family, where we seek to know, love, and serve one another each day.
