Mrs. Fischer’s fourth graders were able to experience everything Heritage Hill had to offer today! History came to life while students explored the fur trading cabin and watched a blacksmith forge a J-hook, helped operate the printing press and played games from long ago. The highlight for was a visit to the historic Fort Howard School where they practiced arithmetic and spelling and even learned about some of the strict school punishments students faced in the past!.
