About Me
I am one of seven sisters who grew up working and playing on my father's farm. As an undergraduate I taught preschool and dance. I have been very active throughout my career teaching graduate classes, running staff developments, and presenting at conferences. I love teaching reading and have published several child-related articles. My second love is musical theater, and I love to use my drama experience to help make lessons fun and interesting.

Dear Families,
Please review Power School for your student's grades and assignments as these are maintained and up to date weekly. In ELA, students complete most of their assignments in class. I simply ask that you have your child study their spelling/vocabulary words each week and read for 20 minutes at home every evening. Feel free to email me with questions or concerns at any time.
