Today is a big day at Holy Family! First and foremost, we honor and celebrate our beloved Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity on the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, for whom their order is named. Since St. Francis is the patron saint of animals, we invite you to bring your pets to our annual pet blessing this afternoon at 3:3O PM in the Holy Family Parking lot. Our Home and School Association (HASA) is hosting a spirit night at Chipotle on Oneida Street from 4 PM – 8 PM. Be sure to mention that you're with Holy Family when you order! If you use the Chipotle app for pickup, enter code DBRBBZV.

Deacon Greg Rotherham will be at Holy Family on Tuesday, October 4, to bless your pets! Bring your furry friends (leashed or caged, please) to our parking lot at 3:30 PM. Continue your family's fun while supporting Holy Family by having dinner at Chipotle on Oneida Street. Holy Family's Home and School Association helps our school in so many ways, and they host awesome events like the Father-Daughter Dance. HASA will receive 33% of funds raised from 4-8 PM by customers who share the flyer or order on the app using code DBRBBZV. Students will bring home flyers on Monday and we'll have some on hand after the Pet Blessing. #goforthegold🥇 #hfscomets☄️ #chipotle 🌶

Our first of 8 “Field Trip” Masses was a success today as all students K-8 boarded buses to celebrate the Feast Day of the Archangels at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish! Holy Family is blessed to be the only GRACE school supported by 6 Parishes, and this year we are having Mass at all of them! Sister Marla and Father Bill were very gracious to welcome us to be there today and we are so thankful for their support!#hfscomets☄️ #goforgold🥇

Happy Grandparents Day and Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! Although Grandparents Day was last Sunday, Holy Family celebrated Grandparents at our all school Mass this morning and invited them all to attend! Grandparents came from all over to be with us, even as far as Washington state! And in one special case, the invitation was reversed as our own Deacon Dan invited his grandchild to attend! Our 7th graders, who led Mass today, blessed our Grandparents with a special prayer and Father Patrick had artwork from a Mexican artist to connect the Feast of our Lady of Sorrows with the start of Hispanic Heritage Month! All Grandparents in attendance were then invited to a Cookie social in our cafeteria. Whether you were able to join us or not, we appreciate the love and support of all of our grandparents and abuelos y abuelas!
